Parts and Equipment

This page is just for photos of parts and equipment, more or less in the order that I purchased locally or ordered and received them. Lumber and most hardware is not included in the photos.

Chassis Parts

My order of 108' of soft steel home from the local supplier. I made the truck top racks just for this job, to haul the 20' and 24' long pieces the 10 miles to my home (driving very, very, carefully). On the truck are 48' of 2" x 2" 11 ga. tubular, 24' of 2" x 3" 11 ga. tubular, 20' of 2" x 2" 11 ga. angle and 20' of 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" 11 ga. angle.

My Dexter 2000 lb torsion axle, with 10 degree down angle on the spindles.

1000 lb swing-up tongue jack, 1 7/8" coupler and safety chains, all from Harbor Freight.

Electrical Parts

Lighted tag bracket and porch light.

This is an inexpensive ($29.99) battery charger/maintainer unit. less than half the price of one I was going to buy. A customer in the store at the time said he had one and it worked great and never overcharged his battery on his motorcycle.

Cabin Interior Appliances and Fixtures

Wedgewood 2-burner drop in cook top unit for those times when the weather isn't good for outdoor cooking.

From left to right, 2 aircraft type reading lamps, two single light units, one double light unit, two 12V DC socket plates.

Special Supplies

From left to right, bubble level that is placed on the tongue, Water hose connector for the sink (I'll not have a water tank) and shore cable hatch for the tongue box.
